Smith + Andersen were the engineers representing the owners.

The Rogers K-Rock Centre includes the design and construction of a 5,600-seat spectator venue for hockey and other sports events (6,800 seats for concerts), with a future option for an additional 1,000 seats. The design incorporates sufficient environmental and energy saving features to attain LEED Silver Certification. The single-tier design accommodates twenty-eight private suites, a club lounge, a restaurant that is open to the seating bowl, and group hospitality suites that double as community meeting rooms. The street-level main concourse incorporates the Kingston and District Sports Hall of Fame exhibits, retail space, and a sports café, all with interior and street access.
