Kick out the jams.
The project required coordination with the neighbouring Redpath Sugar Refinery, as any exterior penetrations for intake and exhaust had to be reviewed and coordinated with Redpath. Various rooms received specialized ceilings and floor slabs for acoustic treatment to prevent sound transfer between workshops and adjacent tenants. This included sound-sensitive rooms, which created ideal environments for sound and editing areas.
Peak performance.
The mechanical design included a heat recovery chiller that utilized the existing base building condenser water system to convert both heating and chilled water, ultimately serving four-pipe fan coil units. The design also introduced dedicated exhaust systems designed to suit the operations and requirements of each workshop space.
Equipped with a dedicated BAS system, fully independent from the base building control and monitoring.
