Over the span of a 28-year career, Tom has worn many hats. A problem-solver by nature, he began as a journeyman plumber/gas-fitter, but quickly grew as a project manager and leader when he entered the engineering field. Tom's mechanical expertise is highly-regarded in the Edmonton market - he has worked on some of the city's highest profile buildings, such as the Edmonton Arena, and is often requested to advise on projects across the country. Tom is a respected mechanical engineering leader who has been involved in both the national and local ASHRAE communities for many years.

Tom is a respected mechanical engineering leader who has been involved in both the national and local ASHRAE communities for many years. 

A past President of the Northern Alberta Chapter, his ongoing participation reflects his passion for the industry and role as a mentor. He is also active in ASHRAE technical committees, sharing his knowledge on the Educational Facilities, and Radiant Heating and Cooling Technical committees. His experience and approach across a wide variety of commercial building types, including educational facilities, arenas, and many challenging renovation projects, give him a multi-faceted perspective that provides critical insight not only to our internal teams - it is sought out on a regular basis to assist design on projects for many clients as well. Tom is known for adding a level of practicality and attention to detail which makes a significant difference on projects of every size, type, and complexity.
