A source of renewable energy.

Edmund joined the Smith + Andersen team immediately after completing his degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2008. Over the past 13 years, he has provided engineering excellence on projects in every market sector, contributing to everything from large transportation and infrastructure projects, to complex data centres, to mixed-use high-rise developments. Edmund frequently takes a lead role on transportation, heritage building renovation, and post-secondary  projects, trusted for his ability to keep a project on track.

Edmund is not only a certified LEED Green Associate and Professional Engineers, but also a Photovoltaic Associate certified with the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). As a leader in solar photovoltaics, Edmund regularly provides feasibility studies, design services, and tender document preparation for clients, providing this expertise on several recent successful projects, such as the Myhal Centre at the University of Toronto and Seneca College’s Centre for Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship. A pragmatic yet innovative engineer, Edmund is a hands-on leader and reliable technical resource on every project on which he is engaged.
