Michael’s career at S+A has focused on large-scale retail redevelopment projects throughout Calgary and its surrounding areas. His understanding of leasing requirements, budgets, and construction costs, and the mechanical systems throughout various retail centres, have made him a valuable resource for landlords looking to lease their assets. His attention to detail and experience dealing with all stakeholders throughout the design and construction process help to facilitate a smooth transition between landlord and tenant work.

Michael joined Smith + Andersen in 2017, and swiftly established himself as a proactive and engaged team member. His early involvement in all aspects of a project, including design drafting, client and project management, and construction administration, allowed him to quickly develop into a respected leader. Michael is eager to continue gaining technical expertise and engaging with clients to maximize their asset value, increase the energy efficiency of their mechanical systems, and to continue to grow his network and reputation within the industry.
