Sharp and precise.

Amisha graduated from the University of Alberta in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. She spent more than a decade in the industry honing her skills before joining Smith + Andersen. Since joining our team, Amisha has grown as a project manager and a leader, developing strong organization and leadership skills, as well as the ability to apply her knowledge and understanding of engineering in a variety of complex situations. Amisha has largely focussed on post-secondary and healthcare projects, developing expertise in the unique needs of these building types. Some of her most notable projects include the University of Calgary Mackimmie Tower, the Glenbow Museum Revitalization, the Northern Alberta Urology Centre, and the University of Alberta Hospital Gamma Knife. 

Amisha is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC). Along with her passion for sustainable design and experience with integrated project delivery, Amisha’s vast skillset includes project planning and concise report writing, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Utilizing these skills, Amisha is an invaluable asset to any project team.
