Since 2013, Smith + Andersen has hosted EcoJam, a charity benefit rock concert that spotlights the talent within our industry. Architects, engineers, designers and construction leaders from across the GTA gather in numbers every year, jamming out to their favorite hits played by none other than their very own peers!

From the beginning, the event has always been focused on sustainability – the “eco” in EcoJam. Every year, it is held during Earth Month in April, to highlight how crucial forest conservation is to the construction industry in Canada. All proceeds benefit Forests Canada, supporting their mission to conserve, restore, and grow Canada’s forests. 

In 2025, we raised a record-breaking $75,000, bringing our total impact to 60,000 trees planted since the event began. EcoJam 2026 will continue this tradition of music and meaningful impact.
