Since 2013, Smith + Andersen has hosted Eco Jam, a charity benefit rock concert that spotlights the talent within our industry. Architects, engineers, designers and construction leaders from across the GTA gather in numbers every year, jamming out to their favorite hits played by none other than their very own peers!
From the beginning, the event has always been focused on sustainability – the “eco” in Eco Jam. Every year, it is held during Earth Month in April, to highlight how crucial forest conservation is to the construction industry in Canada. Since its inception, 33,000 trees have been planted through direct donations to Forests Canada, and in 2024 alone, Eco Jam’s contribution planted 12,000 trees!
As always, we are proud to announce that all the proceeds from Eco Jam 2025 will be donated to Forests Canada, and we hope to continue supporting their efforts in making a sustainable impact.
