A refreshing space.
When Coca-Cola relocated their Canadian headquarters from the suburbs to downtown Toronto, it was a big move. They needed an office design as monumental as the move itself. Moving to the King East neighbourhood just as it was beginning to grow, the Coca-Cola headquarters is tucked within a three-storey addition on top of an existing three-storey existing brick building. But when you step inside, you’re immersed in an office that, no matter how many times you visit, is always refreshing.
This office space was designed by the team at Figure 3 Interior Design. With custom millwork that speaks to the tradition of the brand, and sunlit spaces that invite collaboration, this office required mechanical, electrical, and communications design solutions that wouldn’t get in the way. Smith + Andersen teams delivered just that, as well as an office space experience that is just as comfortable as the décor is welcoming.
One of the focal areas of the office is the atrium in the centre of the office – connecting all three levels of the office in one bright, communal space. The mechanical design accommodated this and other unique spaces across the office, while also accounting for safety and providing zone control. The electrical and communications design provides flexibility across the entire office as well.
