Ready when you are.

Working within tight timelines, the design and construction teams collaborated to supplement and verify as-built drawings. Our team worked with the construction team to trace the existing electrical services, while introducing new LED lighting, floor boxes, and lighting controls to the design of the common area and food court. Four main mall entrances received canopy treatments, each of which required separate signage and lighting. Additional electrical design constraints also had to be addressed for the washrooms and back-of- house areas. Throughout the process, our team worked with the contractor to perform site reviews (often after hours in order to accommodate the accelerated schedule).

‘Tis the season.

Not only did the Woodgrove Centre successfully remain fully operational and accessible to shoppers throughout the renovation, but the targeted opening for the 2016 Christmas season was also achieved. Through the implementation of numerous design efficiencies, including key electrical decisions, the food court area successfully achieved LEED Silver.
