The true union of work, live, and play.

The largest proposed mixed-use development in Toronto’s history, Union Park includes office space, community-serving retail, residential units, and a large park. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto’s Entertainment District adjacent to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre, the design is led by renowned architects Peli Clarke Peli Architects and Adamson Associates, opening up the possibility for more landmark buildings as part of this development.

Union Park includes a proposed four towers – two residential towers with 800 units across 44-storeys and 54-storeys, and two office towers at 58-storeys and 48-storeys providing 3.3-million square feet of office space. An additional approximate 200,000 square feet of retail space is incorporated within the mixed-use podium as part of the proposed development.

As part of Toronto’s downtown core, the development prioritizes sustainability and interconnectivity. A two-acre park built over the Union rail corridor (which is connected to the City of Toronto’s future Rail Deck Park) is part of the plans, in addition to a winter garden situated between the office towers.

Smith + Andersen is providing mechanical, electrical, communications, security, and intelligent integrated design services to all four towers. Footprint is also providing sustainability consulting services. While the development is in its early stages, the entire design team is focused on providing solutions that promote efficiency and sustainability.
