The 911 Institute is part of the La Cite Collegiale Campus complex, which offers education services in buildings spanning more than 60 acres. The Ottawa campus was inaugurated in 1995. It consisted of a dozen buildings comprised of hundreds of classrooms, along with hundreds of modern and well-equipped labs. La City Collegiale offers a number of services, including a sports complex, cafeteria, college library, and a 251-room on-campus residence.

The state-of-the-art Emergency Services Training Centre (911 Institute) includes program areas for police, emergency services, security, and paramedic training, as well as fitness, administration, and meeting areas. The building stands four-storeys above grade with one basement level. The 911 Institute is connected to the other campus buildings above and below ground.
