The Niagara Health System Health Care Complex & Walker Family Cancer Centre (NHS) is Ontario's largest multi-site hospital amalgamation, comprised of six hospital sites (375 beds) and an ambulatory care centre serving 434,000 residents across the 12 municipalities making up the Regional Municipality of Niagara.

The project consists of a new state-of-the-art hospital in west St. Catharines to support inpatient and outpatient services, including a new Walker Family Cancer Centre with capacity for three radiation machines in bunkers and chemotherapy treatment facilities, and a full range of acute inpatient and ambulatory services that amalgamates and expands the services of 2 of the 6 hospitals comprising the Niagara Health System.

The new facility is approximately 1,000,000 square feet comprising new maternity, operating rooms, emergency department, administration, large preparation kitchen, dialysis, regional cancer care facility, and mental health inpatient. The facility has been constructed with sustainability in mind and has achieved LEED Silver Certification.
