The Brooklin Community Centre and Library opened in 2010 and was the newest recreational facility in Brooklin, ON. In addition to a branch library, the two storey building features a pre-school program, youth centre, gymnasium, and spaces dedicated for meetings, crafts, as well as a multi-use banquet room. The community centre also offers various educational and recreational programs.
The interior mechanical distribution at the Brooklin Community Centre and Library seamlessly integrates with the architecture. The gymnasium and library spaces have added humidity control to ensure comfortable spaces in these areas as well as proper care for the wood flooring.
Mechanical units were strategically located to integrate with the facilities sloped roof, a major distinctive feature of the building.
