Darrell draws from 20 years of experience designing various mechanical building systems, including plumbing, fire protection, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. He’s managed the mechanical design of a wide variety of projects, ranging from small fit-ups to large new constructions. Over his career, he’s been involved in the design and construction of multi-use residential buildings, office buildings, healthcare facilities, military facilities, sports arenas, and institutional projects, and he especially thrives when working on innovative new projects.

Darrell draws from 20 years of experience designing various mechanical building systems, including plumbing, fire protection, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. He’s managed the mechanical design of a wide variety of projects, ranging from small fit-ups to large new constructions. Over his career, he’s been involved in the design and construction of multi-use residential buildings, office buildings, healthcare facilities, military facilities, sports arenas, and institutional projects, and he especially thrives when working on innovative new projects. 

Darrell is a dedicated and hard-working team member in all kinds of project delivery methods, including but not limited to Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), design-bid-build, and design-build. In addition, he enjoys being a mentor to the junior and intermediate designers he works with, passing on his knowledge and helping them to develop into capable and confident engineers and project managers.

In addition to his vast project experience, Darrell is an active member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), and the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC).
