This project included a master plan study and then the design and construction of the first phase of the master plan: Central plant service upgrades, the new Middle School and Dunlop Hall Renovation. The Middle School consists of a two-storey classroom wing connected to the existing buildings on Campus. The renovations to Dunlop Hall feature the enclosure of an exterior courtyard to create a new interior ""gathering space"" and creation of additional art room classes and studios.
The project included a replacement of the central plant distribution piping from the CUP through the tunnels to the Dunlop Hall. A new chiller plant was introduced to serve the new Middle School and Dunlop Hall. Air handlers for the Middle School were variable volume. Air handlers for the "gathering space" and Dunlop Hall were constant volume. Demand control (C02 measurement) ventilation was employed.
