Located in South Calgary, this seniors lodge addition includes 68 new suites attached to the existing facility along with an single underground parkade. This project includes new fan coil units for each suite, main make-up air unit, chiller and boiler. The underground parkade is provided with make-up air and exhaust.
Each suite is provided with air conditioning through concealed horizontal fan coil units located within each suite. A new central split chiller plant was necessary and located on the roof and in the mechanical penthouse for chilled water generation. Perimeter hot water heating is provided through a new heating plant located in the mechanical penthouse. An underground parkade with demand controlled ventilation enabled from carbon monoxide sensors is provided for tenants and staff.
