Located in Calgary's Beltline district, this eight-storey building houses the Calgary Health Centre's downtown walk-in clinic space. The building also contains three stories of underground parking. The health centre offers various services such as urgent care, lab services, X-ray, mental health, and more.
In addition to designing the base building systems, Smith + Andersen provided engineering for the Calgary Health Region (CHR) tenant fit-outs. The tenant fit-outs include Urgent Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Renal Dialysis, and Calgary Lab Services departments as well as CHR office and exam spaces.
The building is provided with multiple central station VAV air conditioning units for the office floors and direct fired gas make-up air units for parkade ventilation. Multiple gas fired hot water boilers generate hot water for perimeter radiant panel heating. The building mechanical systems are controlled through DDC controls and the building is fully sprinklered.
